SUMMARY:Digital Health Paper Development Workshop (DH-PDW) @ WI 2025
DESCRIPTION:Organized by: Fachgruppe Digital Health of the German Informati
cs Society (GI e.V.) in collaboration with AIS SIGHealth  \n\nDate/Time: Su
 nday, September 14, 2025, Münster, 1pm-5pm local time \n\n\n\nTheme: Next-L
evel Digital Health Research  \n\n\n\nAbout the workshop \n\nThe “Digital H
ealth Paper Development Workshop” (DH-PDW) is a new pre-conference activity
at the 20th Internationale Tagung Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI) 2025 in Münst
er.  \n\nThe workshop provides a forum for researchers working on issues re
lated to information technology in the context of healthcare. We welcome bo
th research-in-progress and completed research on a broad range of topics a
nd methodologies. We especially invite junior and mid-level researchers sub
mit their work to obtain early feedback. The main purpose of the workshop i
s to help authors develop their work for submission to a major conference o
r a journal. Please note that the papers do not have to fit the theme, just
relate to the theme of digital health and health information technology in
general. \n\nThe workshop takes place in conjunction with the annual meeti
ng of the Special Interest Group Digital Health of the German Informatics S
ociety (Fachgruppe Digital Health, FG-DH). The event is affiliated with AIS
SIGHealth, a Special Interest Group of the Association for Information Sys
tems. Authors do not have to be FG-DH or AIS members to participate.  \n\n\
n\nPublication options \n\nPapers accepted to the workshop will not be incl
uded in conference proceedings so that authors retain all copyrights to the
ir work. However, accepted papers may be listed with author names, affiliat
ions, title, and brief abstract on the FG-DH website. \n\nFast-track option
: Promising papers will be invited for fast-track handling at the Digital B
usiness Management and Digital Leadership department of BISE Journal (Busin
ess & Information Systems Engineering). \n\n\n\nLayout of the workshop \n\n
The workshop is restricted to 8 author teams and will include multiple pitc
h presentations and roundtable discussions. All submitted work will be revi
ewed by the co-chairs and a panel of experienced researchers. All accepted
papers will then be presented and discussed during roundtable discussions t
o provide authors with help, feedback, suggestions, and to facilitate futur
e collaborations. The interactive format of the workshop is geared towards
providing a high degree of feedback to authors with promising early-stage w
ork, but is certainly open to developed and completed research as well.  \n
\nThe workshop will be co-located with the annual meeting of the FG-DH. The
first part of the session will likely be in a hybrid format, involving mem
bers online.  \n\n\n\nRegistration \n\nThe registration to the workshop is
free.  \n\nWorkshop participants need to register for the workshop through
the WI 2025 website as a pre-conference activity. \n\nAt least one author n
eeds to be present at the workshop. However, participation of all authors i
s encouraged to better gather the feedback.   \n\n\n\nSubmission instructio
ns \n\nPapers must be written in English and need to contain original resea
rch. Only one paper per first author will be accepted. \n\nAlthough the wor
kshop invites research in all stages, including research-in-progress and co
mpleted research, all submissions should take the form of short papers of n
o more than 6 pages (including title, abstract, appendices; excluding bibli
ography). \n\nFor formatting guidelines, please refer to the instructions o
f the main conference page: \n\nhttps://www.wi2025.de/submission-guidelines
-2/ \n\nManuscripts which fail to comply with the formatting requirements w
ill likely be rejected. Do not send full length papers. This workshop is de
signed to give authors of papers at many stages of development timely feedb
ack. Therefore, authors need to adhere to the format guidelines to facilita
te a timely review process. \n\n\n\nYour submission needs to contain an abs
tract of no more than 150 words.  \n\n\n\n\n\nTo submit a paper:  \n\n P
lease use the main conference review system ConfTool (comming soon)   	 \n\
n Submit to the track “Digital Health Paper Development Workshop (DH-PDW
)”  	 \n\n\n\nPlease note: By submitting, the author team agrees to perform
two reviews of other papers submitted to the workshop. These reviews are m
eant to be constructive peer feedback, they will not serve as basis for the
decision whether to accept a submission. This is done to ensure optimally
prepared discussions amongst workshop participants. \n\n\n\nImportant dates
